The main part of the exhibition is occupied by minerals arranged according to the Nickel-Strunz classification based on chemical composition and crystal structure.
In addition, fragments of historical mineralogical collections (Domeyko, Hacquet, Morozewicz, Chrobak and Harańczyk) are presented, as well as issues related to crystallography and the use and application of minerals (gemmology, pigments and clays, gilding). The exhibition is complemented by a spectacular collection of historical scientific instruments used in mineralogical sciences since the mid-19th century and the so-called "dark cabin", where one can familiarize oneself with the phenomenon of mineral fluorescence.
